Haha, that’s so funny! As I’ve gotten to become a better cook (not just baker) I def think more like a guy. Sometimes they just get it done! So funny that the roles are reversed a bit in your house. Yes, tons of great spots let me know when you’re coming and where your staying and I’ll throw some ideas out!

lol…okay so on points 1 and 2 I am definitely in the guy category!!! Some of my best dinners have come about becuase I omitted or subbed something in a recipe. I will admit that sometimes my culinary tinkerings also ended up diasters when I didn’t follow that recipe tho too! Re point 2: I am always begging Aaron to please not use EVERY dish, spoon, spatula, frying pan to make cereal in the morning. (j/k) But seriously, I am always the one saying that all the ingredients can fit in the saucepan I originally chose, even when it is about to overflow – just because I don’t want to dirty another dish! – see point 5. great post Colleen, and Aaron and I are going to spend some time in NYC this summer – any must- eat restaurants you can recommend?
